$2 million available!Written on the 27 September 2016 by Lana Reed The Regional Grant Scheme and the Community Chest Fund for 2017 are both now open to community groups and Local Government across the Kimberley. Communities will benefit from a 50% increase to the funding pools this year. Just over $2 million is expected to be allocated to the Kimberley for economic and social infrastructure projects across the Kimberley Region. The grants opened on 1 August 2016 and close on 3 October 2016:
Community Chest Fund - the maximum grant size for the Community Chest Fund is $50,000. Funding will be available after 1 July 2017 for successful applicants. The 2016-17 round of RGS and CCF benefitted 34 projects across the Kimberley, a full list of successful applicants and their projects can be found on the Commission's website. The average RGS grant awarded was just over $111,000 and just under $26,000 for the CCF.
