$620,000 in CCF and RGS funding for Broome projects

Recipients of the latest rounds of Royalties for Regions funding via the Kimberley Development Commission's Community Chest Fund (CCF) and Regional Grants Scheme (RGS) have been announced, with $620,000 allocated to Broome-based projects.

Broome CCF projects supported through this round include:

Broome Youth and Families Hub Inc  BYFH "The Drop in Hall Upgrade"  $25,000
Nyamba Buru Yawuru  Interpretive Masterplan and Economic Vision for Yawuru Conservation Estate $25,000
Shinju Matsuri Inc  Shinju Matsuri 2017  $20,000
TOTAL    $70,000 of $393,531

Projects supported through the latest RGS round in the region include:

Broome Surf Life Saving Club Inc  The redevelopment of Broome SLSC North West Training Facility $300,000
Nyamba Buru Yawuru Ltd  Roebuck Plains Stations - Pivot Project  $250,000
TOTAL  $550,000 of $1,636,689
