2016 Kimberley Economic Forum offering sponsors a direct pathway to local businessWritten on the 27 September 2016 Businesses and government stakeholders are due to gather in Derby on Tuesday 1 and Wednesday 2 November for the 2016 Kimberley Economic Forum. This year the Forum will put the spotlight on key growth sectors of the region, being agriculture, aquaculture and tourism to understand how each business in the region can capitalise on future opportunities. Developed in consultation with the Kimberley Development Commission, Regional Development Australia Kimberley, Kimberley Pilbara Cattleman's Association and Dept of Agriculture, the Forum's program has attracted key stakeholders to deliver updates of their sector with time for question and debate. The program will also feature a must-attend debate between the Kimberley seat candidates for the State Election and a field trip to Jack Burton's new abottoir. President of Derby Chamber Stewart Milne said, "Whatever your business, the Kimberley Economic Forum will cover topics that will directly or indirectly affect you and this is your moment to be part of the conversation.
