2017 Kimberley Economic Forum program announced The 2017 RDA Kimberley Economic Forum is only four weeks away and features a great line-up of speakers, panel debate and events. Highlights include:
  • On Thursday we will hear from Hon. Alana MacTiernan and Luke Bowen on Developing the North, followed by panel discussions: Are we are really open for business? Investing in our people and communities; and Tourism / Branding opportunities for the Kimberley.
  • The ORDCO 'Tasting the Kimberley' dinner is on Thursday night, featuring local produce and bush tucker prepared by Mark Olive as supported by the Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley.
  • On Friday, Stephen Bradbury tells his story of inspiration on location in the Ord during KAI's Ord Valley Tour - hosted by Jim Engelke and Peter Stubbs. With an afternoon spent discussing global trends in food and future opportunities stemming from agriculture across the Kimberley.
