Balancing business with pleasure is easy at Kimberley Sands.

Balancing business with pleasure is easy at Kimberley Sands.

A five-star resort that offers the level of service and experience to match that of any exotic destination, it's a luxurious retreat that draws guests from around the world to this far North Western corner of Australia, and guarantees a lasting impression.

The Kimberley Sands Resort and Spa is fitted out with total comfort in mind and offers a perfect venue for corporate events, geared toward extracting the most out of time in efficiency, comfort and incentive.

The amazing Maxima pool takes centre stage, but venture a little further and the meditative gardens and private plunge pools offer a more intimate experience.

The resort's restaurant is an experience of its own, featuring delicate dishes of Paspaley pearl meat, Shark Bay scallops and Kimberley beef.

Guests are invited to enjoy a sunset happy hour in the adjoining gardens which sparkle at night with candles.

The resort's famous day spa melts away the daily stress of life.

Even at this early time of year the resort seems well occupied.  The pool is perfect temperature, the lush manicured surrounds are serenely quiet.

I've been invited to experience the Kimberley Sands in anticipation of a new initiative geared toward the local business community.

The Kimberley Corporate Club offers local businesses special access to its rooms and facilities.

Corporate Club members are invited to enjoy discounts on accommodation suites, room hire and catering for meetings, as well as the very special day spa.

The resort's boardroom offers a solution to local businesses who are often calling the Chamber asking for a room to host large meetings.  Kimberley Sand's boardroom comfortably sits 20 people with generous catering options.  Larger events can be held at the Selene room where the Chamber will soon launch its new lunch networking series, seating up to 50 guests.

My stay here is short, but memorable.  Much like I've arrived in a parallel destination where I'm reminded of the reason why thousands of people would brave the long flights to reach this far flung exotic haven of Broome.

The beauty of being a local is we save ourselves the money and time to reach this destination and I instantly feel grateful that I've reminded myself of how the 'other half' live.

I'm sad to leave but resolve that I'll be back for the day spa, and to stay longer than just one night

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days at Kimberley Sands Resort & Spa.
