Barnett criticises bureaucracy in BroomeWritten on the 25 November 2016 WA's Premier Colin Barnett has criticised his own government's Aboriginal Affairs department for considering Broome for a heritage listing without properly informing locals.There have been warnings from Broome Shire president Ron Johnston that locals are angry it will block development in the coastal tourist town and damage the economy.
