Ben McInnes invited to become Ambassador for Arthritis AustraliaWritten on the 8 March 2016 Ben McInnes has been asked to become an Ambassador for Arthritis Australia. In this new role Ben is already planning to attend a camp for 15 to 18 year old which provides respite and information to sufferers of arthritis. Residents of Broome have responded with great support to Ben's story after being chosen by Lord Taverner's to play cricket from next month. He was bedridden at 15 needing the use of a mobility scooter after being miss diagnosed for 10 years with a rare form of arthritis causing cysts to grow between the joints and in the bones. He is still fundraising for his six month stay in England, and businesses are asked to consider whether they might have the capacity to assist through donations. Anyone who would like to contribute to this opportunity can also access the go fund me link HERE. Alternately contact Sharon on 0458 235 475 or mcinnesfamily5@bigpond.com for account details. As always, your support is greatly appreciated.
