Billy Minns wins PGA award

A renowned golfer and manager has won an inaugural nationwide award for his services to Broome Golf Club.

William Minns was recently awarded the 2016 PGA Manager of the Year award at the WA Professional Golfers Association of Australia's annual meeting in Perth, after 11 years of management experience.

During this time, Mr Minns has facilitated the development of Broome's golf course to see 19 new greens constructed and fairways improved, as well as managed Broome Golf Club, ensuring it remains affordable and accessible for all locals and tourists.
