Bizspace was established to focus on supporting businesses of all sizes by offering a professional working environment that enables sharing of space, equipment, ideas and knowledge. It's hoped that Bizspace will foster innovation in Broome and provide a network which links skilled expertise with business, leading to game changing business partnerships. Reflecting a growing trend in the use and operation of professional working space across the world, Bizspace aims to increase productivity amongst users through positive workplace environment alongside cost savings for tenants. Bizspace has been developed to target:
Initially comprised of 15 desks with 2 meeting rooms across 2 adjacent hubs, Bizspace offers users a private phone call room and is fully serviced with internet and printing functionality. Users are offered choice of 3 membership packages to best suit their business needs and discounts with business suppliers including Office National, Copycats Printing and the Lock Up Café for business catering. Bizspace has been founded by Andre Veder and Peter Taylor, Broome business locals who have experienced first-hand how difficult the current market is. Being active within the business community and members of the Board of the Broome Chamber of Commerce and Industry, both felt that it was time for real initiatives to be rolled out that directly benefited the Broome business community. Andre said, "In developing the Bizspace concept we saw the opportunity to secure sites through commercial leases negotiated at favourable terms and rates and work alongside interested parties to reinvigorate the area. These sites in many respects will become focal points of activity in which the community can become involved and business opportunities can grow." Peter said, "Bizspace offers a cost effective and flexible pathway for businesses to lease just the office space they need and no more, whether it be for a day, a week, a month or a year. Our aim is to reduce the cost and the risk to the leasee of being saddled with expensive office space and thereby encourage more businesses to take the next step in their growth plans. "The short term aim is to bring foundation partners onto the initiative to support further growth in the concept and enhance the opportunities afforded to businesses." Co-working space is available immediately. Interested parties should go to www.bizspace.com.au to enquire about a package that best suits their needs.
