Boab UAS films for BBC doco in Broome

Boab UAS were one of a few Broome businesses supplying to a BBC documentary film crew recently who were here to film snub nosed dolphins.

Filming most of August for a new series of Blue Planet, the BBC were working with Environs Kimberley a a source of the local wildlife in Broome.

Matthew Adams of Boab UAS said, "The director wanted views of the filming area and of the dolphins from the air so they contacted us through a friend in Environs Kimberley.

We did a few half days of filming on the mudflats near the bird observatory with the big drone and 4 trips out on a small boat where we had 11 flights with the little drone getting video of the dolphins and the boats they were using."

Boab Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) specialises in aerial photography, video and surveying.
