Boulevard to host North West Expo

Written on the 6 May 2016

Boulevard to host North West Expo Australia's North West Expo will be on again in Broome next month, this time in an air-conditioned shopping centre.

The event was suspended in 2014 and a smaller version was last year held in Broome Civic Centre and surrounding car parks and gardens.

The Shire of Broome underwrote the ANWE presented Love Broome Expo in 2015, and this year organisers have struck a deal with Primewest Broome Boulevard.

The free "pop-up" event on the weekend of May 21-22 will include entertainment and access to a range of informational exhibits.

ANWE President Elisabeth Lucke said the scale and quality of the exhibits would help attract a big crowd on the weekend.

"Broome Boulevard tenants and locals will benefit from an event held entirely in the air-conditioned shopping centre," she said.

Exhibitors will be able to use empty shop spaces, and many will be located along the mall areas.
