Breakfast boosts confidenceWritten on the 10 April 2017 Local businesses were last week promised a boost in the economy by key stakeholders in the resource sector at the Chamber of Commerce's first business breakfast of the year. Representatives from the Department of Mines and Petroleum, INPEX, Shell and Buru updated the public on their projects surrounding Broome and the impact they will have on the town. Broome Chamber of Commerce chief executive Jael Napper said she was overwhelmed by the turnout at the event and believes it emphasises its importance. "It is fantastic to see local business take an interest in events such as these," she said.
