Broome Midnight Basketball

The inaugural Midnight Basketball programme is hoping to kick off in Broome next month.

This programme is aimed at disadvantaged, at risk and hard to reach young people in Broome.

There is a cap on numbers (approx 60 youth) and the programme will run every Friday night from 6:30pm to midnight.

The young people will participate in two workshops which are aimed at increasing resilience, making better choices and healthy living.

Participants will get a warm meal and driven home at midnight.

20 community volunteers are also required for reffing, scoring, bus driving, coaching and security.

If you can volunteer some time or some funds then please contact Peta-Lee Cole-Manolis on 0438 307 099.
