Businesses called on to help community clean up March 6

On Sunday 6 March businesses are called on to send volunteers to assist with a community effort to clean up the Roebuck Bay foreshore starting Town Beach at 7am.

In a show of support to those taking pride in the beauty of our town, it's hoped that this will be the first of several such events throughout the year.  Managers and business owners are urged to spread word among their staff and come along with friends and families for the two hour event with all contributors offered puclic acknowledgement via BCCI.

Gloves, bags and cold water will be provided, volunteers need only bring a hat and water bottle.

Coordinated by Conservation Volunteers and Environs Kimberley, the initiative will form part of the nationwide 'Clean Up Australia Day'.
