Catherine DeVrye - Compelling Workshop

Written on the 22 November 2016 by Jael Napper

Author of the #1 best selling book 'Good Service is Good Business' Catherine DeVrye gave a compelling workshop in Broome yesterday, with 50 local businesses in attendance.

Her message was delivered through the acronym SERVICE which spells out the seven principals of running a good business through exceeding expectations to customers, recovering from mistakes and caring for staff.

Catherine's famous quote really hit home with the seven most expensive words in business, "we have always done it that way".

She had everyone thinking about ways to address how they do business, and differentiate between practices that add value or just add cost.

The Broome Chamber with support of Kimberley Small Business Support invited Catherine to create this workshop especially for businesses in Broome and Kununurra.
