Chair of Pastoral Lands Board resigns over rangelands reforms in Western Australia
Written on the 25 April 2016The head of the Pastoral Lands Board has resigned in protest over the West Australian Government's proposed changes to the Land Administration Act.
PLB chair Leanne Corker resigned last night after nearly 10 years with the statutory body, citing grave concerns with the Government's Rangelands Reform Program.
Mrs Corker said the final straw came when the Department of Lands publicly questioned the PLB's integrity at a consultation forum in Perth on April 6.
