Controls on takeaway grog look set to stayWritten on the 5 June 2017 Funding is being set aside in the upcoming Shire of Wyndham East Kimberley budget to pay for the proposed continuation of a system installed at bottle shops to enforce liquor restrictions. SWEK commissioner Ron Yuryevich told The Echo he would include funding for the Takeaway Alcohol Management System through to June 30 next year. .... Mr Yuryevich was buoyed by the results from the SWEK Scorecard, which surveyed residents on subjects like TAMS earlier this year. "I'm driven by community, so that influences my decisions the majority of the time by far," he said The survey found 74 per cent of 404 residents who took part were in favour of TAMS continuing.
