Conversations at Parliament House: How does each party believe they will benefit Broome?

Written on the 16 November 2016 by Jael Napper

Liberal:  Infrastructure development funded by the sale of Western Power, guided by the Broome Growth Plan which Redman describes as the 'prospectus to sell Broome'.

National:  Large and small scale infrastructure development in the regions funded by the increase in special lease rental rate and royalties for regions.

Labor:  Diversification in economy (through investment in tourism and international student facilities), upskilling youth, and a better way of addressing the nation's ice addition and corrective service process
