Council votes on new track location

The Shire is hoping to speed up plans to progress the relocation of Broome's motorsport facility by applying for land tenure over its preferred site.

The council has been working with Landcorp and the Broome Motocross Club for the past four years to relocate the motocross and speedway clubs to facilitate the expansion of Broome North.

Two sites were earmarked in 2015, one on the corner of Cape Leveque Road and McGuigan Road (lot 351), and the other at the intersection of Cape Leveque Road and Broome Road (lot 591).
