Cut-price visits explored Broome accommodation providers have launched a private campaign to introduce cut-price return charter flight/hotel packages from Perth to the Kimberley town.

Ramada Eco Beach owner Karl Plunkett and Kimberley Accommodation Group boss Martin Peirson-Jones are spearheading the push for the service they have branded Spirit Airlines.

The target was to provide independent accommodation, including return transfers from Perth, for $400 per person during the high season and $300 between November and March.

The flights would run twice weekly, on Fridays and Mondays.
