Yawuru representatives and community members converged on Town Beach on April 28 to mark the milestone anniversary on the same lawns Justice Ronald Merkel handed down his landmark judgment a decade ago. Nyamba Buru Yawuru chairwoman Debra Pigram said the occasion was not just a cause for celebration but also to reflect on what native title means to the Yawuru community and Broome.
