Employment Related Accommodation VacanciesWritten on the 18 October 2016 Madalah is again celebrating successful transitions from Broome's Employment Related Accommodation.Moses is moving into his own unit, and will be a great tenant as he is independent, organised and reliable. He leaves us with less debt, better budgeting skills and more understanding of his work goals. Ready to follow his dreams to explore the world and make a difference in people's lives. Sam is returning to his home country for law. He is developing as a strong leader in both our economic world and in his own culture and family. Sam intends to return to Broome in a few months to continue to put his gardening and conservations skills to work. The Green Army will miss his humour and enthusiasm and we look forward to his return. TAFE block training usually gets quiet towards the end of the year freeing up additional rooms for permanent participants. We have enjoyed helping groups of 2- 4 apprentices with their TAFE homework and sharing our beach evenings, BBQs and activity nights with them. Their stories of successful start to their careers inspires and motivate us all. If you know someone who is seeking accommodation and needs support to improve their work and life skills please give us a call. Any single person who is a employed, student, trainee or apprentice and may be struggling to maintain their work or studies is eligible.

Lorenzo (pictured) headed south to Karratha for work after completing his training / work with the Mumabulajin Green Army team. Originally living in our Derby facility he transferred to Nyirrwa Murrgurlai Broome and continued to increase his reliability and understanding of employer's requirements. He learnt to budget and purchased a bike to be more independent and improved his fitness and health by building regular activities and connecting with other agencies and groups. |
