Extra Qantas Flights for Broome

Qantas announced last week the inclusion of a third direct flight between Melbourne and Perth this year. Direct flights between Melbourne and Broome re-commence on Sunday 20th March, the regular Wednesday service will start on the 4th May, and a new Friday service will be available from 3rd June. It means that during the peak months Broome will have direct flights to cities on the East Coast 5 days a week, with services to Brisbane and Sydney also set to resume in the coming months. With Broome being a gateway for visitors coming to the Kimberley, this will have flow-on benefit to the tourism sector across the region.
