Funding boost for Broome community groups

Broome Golf Club and Nirrimbuk were among twenty community groups and events will share more than $74,000 in funding support this year after the latest round of the Shire of Broome Community Sponsorship Program and EDL West Kimberley Community Donations.

Broome Shire President, Ron Johnston, said Broome's community groups and organisations played an important role in the life of the town, and the Shire was pleased to be able to partner with them and to support their work.
