Funding for Broome to Cape Leveque RoadWritten on the 23 December 2016
The $65 million project to seal the Broome to Cape Leveque Road is now fully funded with the Liberal National Government committing $12.5 million in the Mid-year Review, in addition to the Commonwealth's contribution of $52.5 million.
Premier Colin Barnett said constructing an all-weather sealed road from Broome to the communities on the Dampier Peninsula would deliver many benefits for the people living there, including better access to community services. Source: WA Govt News |
