Galwey's unique approach propels business toward 20th year

As Galwey approaches their 20th year of retail operations, the family business' milestone is accredited to their distinctive pearls, unique jewellery designs and individual approach to customer service.

Established in 1997 as Pearls by Lyndal Galwey at their first premises on Bayview Terrace in Claremont, the Broome store opened its doors on Dampier Tce in August 2005 and in true family style is now run by Prudence Galwey.

Lyndal has since gained ten years of experinece in Asia where she's been involved in all aspects of the pearl business, particularly in Japan.

Throughout the years each has brought their own unique flair to the Galwey brand, but Lyndal and Prudence say one thing has remained constant.

"We believe that choosing your perals in person is the best way to appreciate and understand their true beauty as each piece is unique and individual," they say.

"We encourage you to collaborate with us to create the right piece just for you, whether it's a single pearl for a ring, a pair of earrings, a pearl bracelet or thirty or so to make a strand."

In complement to their selection of distinctive pearls, Galwey provides full service in all types of Jewellery design including repairs and restringing, restoration and redesign, insurance valuations and replacements, as well as gift vouchers.
