Horizontal Falls Seaplane Adventures wins big at Australian Tourism Awards

Broome business Horizontal Falls Seaplane Adventures has proven itself to be among the best tourism experiences in the country, taking out two awards at the recent Australian Tourism Awards.

The awards included Gold for Adventure Tourism, and Bronze for Unique Accommodation.

Horizontal Falls Seaplane Adventures was among 8 other WA businesses recognised during the gala evening held in Darwin on Friday 24 February.

Tourism WA CEO Gwyn Dolphin, who announced at the ceremony that Perth will host the awards next year, said the wins were a testament to the strength of the State's industry.

"Two gold medals, four silver and four bronze shows a level of excellence in the tourism offerings in WA," Mr Dolphin said.

"It is proof businesses are delivering on the 'experience extraordinary' promise and reinforces the high potential for future tourism growth."
