Jetty trail unlocks Broome's history Residents and visitors to Broome will be able to take an interactive and nostalgic trip down memory lane after the Jetty to Jetty Heritage Walk Trail launched [April 7].

The trail is a self-guided walking tour extending from Streeter's Jetty through Chinatown, over Kennedy Hill, and along the Roebuck Bay foreshore to the site of Old Jetty at Town Beach.

The project was established after an accord was signed between the Shire of Broome and Yawuru Native Title Holders last year to create a heritage walk trail linking the two jetties.

It encompasses existing footpaths and highlights 13 historic locations along the route with interpretive signage and bench seating installed at each point.
