Luxury Kimberley resort to rebuild after fire in time for next year's tourist season Management at the luxury El Questro resort in the Kimberley is confident they will be able to rebuild in time for the 2017 tourist season.

A fire burning through the East Kimberley has damaged up to 30 tented cabins, staff accommodation, and maintenance sheds at Emma Gorge Resort, part of the iconic El Questro Wilderness Park.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) has described the damage as the largest loss of infrastructure in the Kimberley.
