New program helps businesses connect to international tourism boom

Written on the 11 April 2016

The Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC) has launched a new program to help businesses connect with the international tourism market.

The Know-How for Inbound Tourism Excellence (KITE) program, was launched in Perth on Wednesday by ATEC's Chairman, Denis Pierce.

KITE will provide tourism businesses, at all levels of their international readiness cycle, with overall export know-how, market specific insights and specialist topic webinars, allowing them to get into, or stay on top of the game. Mr Pierce also launched the Tourism Export Toolkit (TExT), another joint initiative with Tourism Australia and with collaboration from all STOs. TExT is an online publication which will support the KITE program and is designed to provide basic tools, knowledge and key contacts for the industry.

For details and workshop dates check atec.net.au where information and updated modules will be updated regularly.
