NW patience pays off for King River at Mt Remarkable

Shares in the Tony Barton-chaired and backed King River Copper enjoyed a bump today after the company emerged from a trading halt to report a high-grade gold hit at its Mt Remarkable project in the Kimberley.

King River said a new scissor hole at the Trudi Vein prospect 200km south of Kununurra had returned six metres at 37.6g/t gold including one metre at 90.7g/t from a depth of 15 metres.

Mr Barton said King River had been exploring in the Kimberley region for 17 years but picked up the Mt Remarkable tenements just last year.
