Old Stage II leases handed over

The State Government has handed finalised lease documents to the Ord Valley's biggest developer after five years of long negotiations.

Chinese-owned Kimberley Agricultural Developments was named as the State's preferred proponent for the Ord Stage II project several years ago.

KAI has developed and harvested some farming land since then despite not having land tenure over the sites.
