Regional Events Scheme applications Close Feb 1

The Gascoyne Food Festival did it....so did the Ningaloo Whaleshark Festival and the Yalgoo Emu Cup.

What did they do?

They got funding through the Regional Events Scheme to help with the cost of putting on an event.

Applications need to be submitted by Feb 1, the scheme offers funding for eligible regional events held between July 1, 2016 and June 30, 2017 that have the ability or potential to attract visitors to the region, achieve media attention and involve and inspire the local community.

Event holders can apply for funding between $5,000 and $50,000.
