Registrations open for Best of Broome Awards

The Best of Broome is back, and Broome Businesses are now invited to Register their business in one of 23 categories to compete in what our locals think deserves the title of THE BEST!

The competition was originally created after more people each year who relocated to Broome or came through on holidays, asked."Where can I find a good Hairdresser? Where is the Best place to Stay? Who does the best brekkie?! What is the Best Mechanic in town?"

Radio is "Word of Mouth, so being a word of mouth media source we thought we should take on the responsibility of spreading the word! So Spirit 102.9 Broome and RedFM 101.3 Broome decided to ask locals about their favorites and put them to the vote.

In it's early days voting required locals to fill out ballot papers at the businesses which had sponsored the event, after being around for the better part of a decade, Broome locals and enthusiasts can now voice their opinions via an online voting system on both the Spirit 102.9 and RedFM 101.3 websites.

Listeners are required to vote for a minimum of 10 categories out of a total of 23 categories for one lucky person to WIN a $1000 cash prize. The winner will be drawn at the end of the voting process and announced on air via both Spirit 102.9 and RedFM 101.3 Broome.

23. TYRE SHOP

Only businesses that have registered, or have been nominated by someone, will get a place on the finalists list for their category to go to public vote.

*Sponsors of the competition and the top 3 placed businesses of each category will be invited to the exclusive Awards Night at Divers Tavern on Tuesday, March 27, 2018.
