Remote Kimberley polling schedule revealedWritten on the 16 February 2017 The schedule for the crucial period of remote polling for the Kimberley has been released and will start next week. The communities, hospitals and prisons which make up the voting category of "special institutions and mobile polling places" traditionally leans in favour of Labor. At the 2013 election 60 per cent of votes from the classification were in favour of Labor member for the Kimberley Josie Farrer who attributed her win to the remote results. This year mobile polling kicks off in the Kimberley at Kalumburu on February 25.
