Shinju decides to move float parade back to Male Oval in 2018

While the new Shinju Pearl Harvest Party (supported by the Chinatown Revitalisation) was hailed a great success, the Broome communiity was divided this week by the long

 

While the Pearl Harvest Party was an amazing success, we acknowledge that many people have a great love for the Mardi Gras on Male Oval. We're pleased to advise that we'll reinstate the original float parade route, so it goes past the Roey and we'll end up on the oval for the Mardi Gras.
We'll keep the Pearl Harvest Party, but hold that on a separate night.
I'd like to thank everyone who gave feedback or contributed to the discussion in a respectful way without retreating to personal attack.
