Stokes buys another station in tycoons' cattle land race

Billionaire Kerry Stokes has bought his second big cattle station in the Kimberley as he competes with fellow West Austrlian tycoons Gina Rinehart and Andrew Forrest in a buying spree for northern pastoral land.

The emerging cattle barons believe Asian demand for beef will continue to rise in coming decades and that northern development could finally reach its long-held potential.
