Tapping into region's food trail potential

The development of tourism food trails in WA is not being relegated to wine regions, with untapped potential lying dormant in the Ord Valley.

Tourism WA and Trails WA have been working together to develop at least 11 trails around the State as set out in a vision document for 2020.

A workshop will be held in Kununurra during the same week as the annual agricultural show for business owners, budding entrepreneurs and farmers who want to find out more about setting up a trail in the East Kimberley.

Marketing consultant John Stanley will be flying to Kununurra for the first time in about 20 years to tell people more about food trails.
