Telstra's new breed of speed now covers Broome

Life in Broome just got a whole lot faster with Telstra now completing another two 4GX sites in the area, providing locals with access to one of the world's fastest mobile networks.

Telstra Area General Manager Tony Carmichael said the introduction of 4GX was designed to ensure local residents and businesses continue to enjoy the best coverage, network reliability and consistently fast speeds as more activity, more people and more devices join the Telstra network.

Mr Carmichael said two new sites - at Cable Beach and Broome South had now been activated and together with two more sites at Broome West and another base station in the centre of town this now completed a 4GX network across Broome.
