The Kimberley to Welcome New Luxury Ship, Ponant's Le Laperouse, for Dry Season Cruises Australia will have a newly built small ship in the Kimberley in 2019 with luxury cruise line Ponant set to base Le Laperouse in the spectacular outback region for four months.

"This will provide Australians and New Zealanders with the opportunity to sail on one of the world's newest ships featuring the very latest in maritime technology, safety and environmental sensitivity [which are] important considerations for voyages in remote areas such as the Kimberley," said Monique Ponfoort, Vice President Asia Pacific, Ponant.
