Thriving plantation 200km south Broome THINK of Australian station country and it's normally cattle and red dirt which come to mind.

But about 200 kilometres south of Broome, on Shelamar station, there is a rare sight of sweet corn, green beans and watermelons as far as the eye can see.

The Trandos family, trading as Trandos Farms, is run by Jim, Arthur and Michael Trandos.
