Thunderbird Update

The Thunderbird Mineral Sands Project, located between Broome and Derby, is being developed by Western Australian company Sheffield Resources Limited.

It's a large-scale, mineral sands mining and processing project with low environmental impacts and long term economic and community benefits; with a mine life of more than 40 years.

 

The Thunderbird Mineral Sands Project is in the study phase, with several milestones to be achieved in advance of planned commencement of construction in 2017.

1.  Completion of Bankable Feasibility Study (BFS)

2.  Customer agreements

3.  Project funding

4.  Finalisation of permitting - Native Title and environmental approvals
