Today's cruise ship to dock overnight in Broome

The threat of a cyclone this week disrupted the start of Broome's cruise ship season with the 2000 passenger Sun Princess cancelling its visit to Broome yesterday.

In a welcome amendment to the planned visits today's MS Sirena is now staying overnight and will be departing Broome Friday the 24th at 9:00AM.

German passengers on board the Artania are still due to arrive Sunday morning with businesses in Chinatown urged to stay open to receive the guests.
