Tourism WA-Singapore Airlines marketing partnershipWritten on the 18 October 2016 Western Australia will be promoted in several major international markets over the next three years through a new partnership between Tourism WA and Singapore Airlines.The memorandum of understanding signed last week and worth $1.65 million over three years continues a long-standing alliance between Tourism WA and the airline. The partners will work together on cooperative marketing and PR activity to support Singapore Airlines' four daily services into Perth and encourage destination awareness of WA.The USA will be one of five focus markets during 2016-17, building on new Singapore Airlines routes including a direct service from San Francisco and two daily flights from Los Angeles. The routes open up Singapore as a North American gateway to Australia with Perth offering a shorter flight time compared to other Australian cities.Singapore, Germany, China and the UK will also be targeted through the new agreement, which runs until the end of the 2018-19 financial year.
