Traditional owners disappointed by scaling back of proposed fin fish farm Traditional owners in Western Australia's far north are disappointed their bid to start a fin fish farm in the West Kimberley will likely be scaled back by the State Government

The Bardi Jawi, Dambimangari and Mayala people - along with a private partner - are the proponents behind the Aarli Mayi Project.

Their vision is to create a sustainable future for traditional owners through employment at a planned aquaculture operation in the Kimberley Aquaculture Development Zone, north of Broome.
