Tuesday August 9: Come to your census

The Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) has issued a reminder that all travellers in WA, including interstate and international visitors, must be counted in the national census on the night of Tuesday August 9. "This is a popular time of the year for people to hit the road and experience some of what WA has to offer, so we need to make sure they still have every opportunity to be counted, even if they're spending the night in a tour bus, hostel or caravan park," David Waymouth from the ABS said. Travellers can complete the census online and ABS field officers will be in some remote areas. Visit abs.gov.au/census or call 1800 642 381 for extra information.
