Unique Bracelet Supports Medical ResearchWritten on the 15 November 2016 by Melva Stone UNIQUE BRACELET SUPPORTS MEDICAL RESEARCHIn a unique cause-related marketing initiative, Paspaley has chosen the Garvan Institute of Medical Research as its partner in launching "The Kimberley Bracelet". A donation of 25% from the sale of each bracelet will go to the Institute in support of cancer research. The bracelet features natural elements unique to the Kimberley beautiful sandalwood from Kununurra and a hand-selected Paspaley Australian South Sea pearl. Together they form a unisex bracelet, which is a symbol of the pioneering spirit of both Paspaley and the Garvan Institute.When donating one of the bracelets for the Chinatown Christmas Party, manager of Paspaley in Broome, Natasha Pascall said, "we are very excited about the launch of this unique bracelet and all that it represents. With cancer affecting so many people and their loved ones, it is a privilege to support the work of the Garvan Institute for their research in this area. It is also important to us to be involved in the Broome Christmas Party to help celebrate the festive season with our local community".
