Utilise the China, Korea and Japan Free Trade Agreements

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia (CCIWA) has received funding from the Australian Government to build and deliver the WA North Asia Free Trade Agreement Access Program, to encourage WA regional businesses to utilise the China, Korea and Japan Free Trade Agreements.

CCIWA has been tasked to deliver a series of training workshops in 11 metro and regional locations, 2 state wide webinars and up to 185 tailored one-on-one consulting sessions to assist businesses to better utilise the FTA's to grow their business. Additionally, we they provide educational materials, new web based tools, a WA FTA Advice Helpline, certificate of origin video and expert advice to all participating businesses.

Broome  has been identified as having a number of exporters and will therefore benefit from a workshop in November, 2016.

WHAT YOU WILL LEARN AT THE WORKSHOP:

The training is designed for both experienced and non-experienced exporters as well as importers. It combines practical and technical aspects of
o How to leverage the new North Asian FTA's to create new sales opportunities in Japan, China and Korea.
o Export readiness for each market including available government grants to grow business.
o How to determine and use FTA price advantages for your products and services in each market
o Relevant product, services and investment regulations; non-FTA barriers and industry specific market access information.
