WA Government drafting new rangelands legislation to increase use of 87 per cent of state

The West Australian Government will create new legislation to promote a range of industries and conservation across the majority of the state.

The new legislation will allow for a new type of lease available over WA's rangelands, which cover 87 per cent of the state, according to the Minister for Regional Development and Lands, Terry Redman.
