This two day Local Business Maximiser workshop will :

• Educate local businesses regarding the status of current resources projects and inform them of procurement opportunity in the Kimberley over 2018
• Enable local busineslses to develop an understanding of resources tendering processes and assess their capability to tender for resources sector projects
• identify avenues for local businesses to receive practical support to improve competitveness and enable engagement in the resources sector supply chain
• Connect local businesses into the resources sector and other like-minded suppliers

A follow up session will be held later in the year to enable participants to engage with resource sectors companies and their contractors at a business networking event.

Day 1 - Wednesday 25 July 

Key Tier 1 Contractors and Industry Experts will present an overview of the operations and maintenance plans for existing projects over the upcoming 12 month period.

Understanding relevant opportunities in the ongoing project phases will assist local businesses to identify where their individual businesses can integrate throughout the service and supply chain and how to maximise and expand their engagement.

Day 2 - Thursday 26 July

From identifying direct business opportunities, Day 2 intends to develop a clear understanding of procurement processes and pre-qualification requirements of industry and identify existing business support programs to assist local business to improve their capability.
